I think that this is a very interesting research question and speaks volumes to the current uses of social media as snapchat and Instagram are used frequently. It would also be interesting for this research to go further to discover how and what social media sites do introverts and extroverts tend to act differently on. But this definitely is a catalyst for future research!

I really enjoyed reading about and listening to your research topic. I was wondering if you think that the individuals may have shown inherent narcissistic behaviors or if it is possible that the pressures that social media may place on certain individuals may play a role in causing them to develop more narcissistic tendencies?

What a cool finding measuring both extraversion and narcissism! I really like the behavioral analysis you applied here as well because it goes beyond just posting information/checking likes.

I agree with Alex that your measure of narcissism on social media is an interesting one. I’m interested in why you chose snapchat and instagram as the two social media outlets to study. I’m assuming not facebook because gen Z doesn’t really use that, but why not something like tiktok, which seems to fit into the “extraverted and narcissistic category”?

I also like your measure on narcissism and social media. Did you make that up or was it something you found in the literature? I think it was interesting that ambiverts were less narcissistic than introverts or extraverts (if I am remembering correctly). So you found a U shape relationship!

This is a very interesting study! I am not surprised by the results that show that narcissism is higher in extroverts in regards to social media. I like how you guys went about this research and your poster explaining everything was super neat and easy to understand! I loved this study!

This is really interesting, and I’m not surprised at your findings. Why did you pick Snapchat and Instagram specifically, and if you were to continue this research would you expand into other social media platforms?
